Celebrating International Women’s Day with artist Don Stuart

Join us as we celebrate International Women’s Day, on Sunday March 8, 2026 from 1-4pm with a special talk with artist Don Stuart creator of the ‘Homage’ Exhibit currently at Hutchison House Museum. In addition to speaking about the creation and history of some of the more fascinating pieces in the ‘Homage’ exhibit, he will be discussing about a project he has started in Nunavut- a weaving studio which produces the most amazing tapestries. This is an ongoing successful project that was started to provide work for women in the North.
Presentation to be held at Knights of Columbus at 1pm at 317 Hunter St W, followed by a reception at Hutchison House Museum (around the corner at 270 Brock St). Enjoy some light refreshments, explore the exhibit and talk further with artist Don Stuart at the museum from 2-4pm. Admission is $5 for PHS and Friends of Hutchison House Members or $10 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased by calling the museum at 705-743-9710 or emailing .
