“Peterborough Theatre Guild a Behind the Scenes Tour”

‘History buffs, theatre goers and area residents will get a rare treat next week on Tuesday Jan.20 at 7:30 pm:  A chance to tour backstage ad the Peterborough Theatre Guild to see first-hand how the Guild mounts its production for six decades – props, costume, lighting and sound.. Join the audience in the theatre afterwards as long-time Guild actor/writer/producer Bea Quarrie will give a talk about the Guild’s history and stand-out productions. We may even get a scene or so presented by present Guild actors – all for free.

The evening (note it’s at the Theatre Guild, 364 Rogers Std.) will be part of the Peterborough Historical Society’s monthly Speakers Series and light refreshments are available. ‘

The Peterborough Historical Society monthly speaker series takes place on the third Tuesday of September, October, November, January, February, March, and May. Unlike other meetings, this meeting will be held at the Peterborough Theatre Guild at 364 Rogers St. in Peterborough starting at 7:30pm. Members, guests, and the general public are welcome.
