The first Burns super was held in Ayrshire, Scotland in 1801 to celebrate the life of Scotland’s National Poet Robert Burns. Robbie Burns Day is considered a key cultural heritage event in Scotland. For the first time Hutchsion House Museum will celebrate Robbie Burns Day with a take home meal on January 25, 2024. Celebrate this Scottish icon with a traditional Scottish meal made up of all your Hogmanay favorites. You must pre-order your meals by January 19, 2024. Meals will be available for curbside pick-up between 12pm and 2pm on January 25, 2024. Meals are $30 and will include: a Scotch egg, tatters and neeps, oatcakes, cheese, a sample of potted salmon, shortbread and clootie dumpling. For an extra $5 you can also get a piece of Haggis.
