The Peterborough and County Military Museum is a recent addition to Peterborough’s several
history museums. Having opened in October 2022 in the Peterborough Armoury, the PCMM is
currently a satellite branch of the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment Museum in the
Belleville Armoury but is in the process of becoming a stand-alone entity. Peterborough has a
long and distinguished history of military service which the museum displays through artifacts
from most of Canada’s conflicts. Don Willcock will give an illustrated talk on the creation of the
PCMM and on some of the exhibited artifacts.
