Volunteer
The Peterborough Historical Society and Hutchison House Museum depend upon volunteers to provide our programs and fulfill our responsibilities.
Volunteering with the Peterborough Historical Society and Hutchison House Museum offers many opportunities to meet people with a shared interest in local history and heritage.

Junior Volunteers
Junior Volunteers, between the ages of 9 and 13, also play an important role at the museum. They act as servers for the Scottish Teas throughout the summer and help with other special events.
Many junior volunteers go on to serve as docents for guided public tours of the museum, earning credits for their High School Volunteer Service requirements.
If you are interested in applying to become a Junior Volunteer, visit our Volunteer Forms page and follow the instructions provided there.
